Battle of the aces

Last night Yovanni Gallardo, and Johan Santana had one of if not the best pitcher’s duel of the young season. Santana went 8 innings, allowing 3 hits, with 5 k’s, all while allowing 0 runs. Good enough for the win? Well yes it was, but there was one problem, Gallardo matched him. Yoga had a complete game shutout. The game ended on a Corey Hart walk off home run in the bottom of the 9th inning. It was a tough loss for Johan and the Mets, as their scoreless inning streak ended at 35, and 5 game winning streak came to a close.
